I . INSPIRATION. Moa started out as a Vikings original character. Ever since the release of Vikings in 2013, she's grown as my interest in Germanic and Norse mythology, as well as my love for fatalism in literature, has deepened. I grew up with stories about Sigurd the Dragon Slayer and the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, I'm also an insane daydreamer and love high fantasy and science fiction, so that's the genre I will set most of my interactions in. Relevant pieces of fiction include but are not limited to: Netflix's Barbarians, Amazon Prime's Those About to Die, Frank Herbert's Dune novels, the Arthurian legend, the Song of the Nibelungs, J.R.R. Tolkiens' Lord of the Rings, and Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time novels. In fact, I can probably make shit work for most fantasy settings - Moa in her nature is an observer of fate. It's against her character to "influence" the story too much. I'll be happy to brew a custom verse for you. 🧡II . (UN)FOLLOWING. I usually follow back quickly, depending on how busy I am with life. If I follow, it means I want to interact with you: feel free to skip the awkward bits and directly come yell at me about your muse! I softblock when I no longer see any potential for interaction and similarly, prefer being soft-blocked over unfollowed (not a necessity!)III . TRIGGERS. Due to the nature of subjects I write, I will not tag general mentions of violence and death. If graphically described, I will tag the content with [trigger] cw / and you're free to tell me what to tag via ask without me posting it publicly. Content that is not safe for work is tagged as nsft / and I ask you to please tag pregnancy for me ( pregnancy / suffices! ) I also very, very seldom ever write any threads related to pregnancy, please be aware that any in-depth exploration of pregnancy requires lots of plotting and I need to be extremely comfortable with you. I default to no pregnancy plots for the most part.
IV . SHIPPING. I'm a sucker for writing any kinds of relationships and exploring dynamics in different settings and under different circumstances. I also absolutely encourage you to tell me directly whether you want to plot out a ship or start with something pre-established, I can assure you that I'm usually always down for anything and just extremely suck at bringing it up. Please know however that while I am always absolutely down for writing romance, I also encourage plotting platonic relationships! In the same breath, I also enjoy sharing mutuals and the same "friend groups" in character, allowing for more world-building and in-depth plotting.V . MEMES. Memes are taken as prompts for starters and the response placed in a new text post to make the transformation of the meme into a thread easier. They are intended for responding but you obviously don't have the obligation to. I consider them read when you give them a little heart.VI. ACTIVITY. Man, I can be slow. I thought I would be slow when I was graduating from university but now that I have a full-time job (and thinking about going back for a PhD), I am even slower. I will try to do my best to make things run smoothly from my side and I'm really an approachable person (I hope), but please forgive me if a take some days to respond to your messages.VII . ADULT CONTENT. Last but not least, I am both of age (born 1996) and enjoy writing erotica. I will not under any circumstances write smut with anyone below the age of eighteen and feel most comfortable with those above the age of twenty-one. I tag my smut but usually do not put it under a readmore.

AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME, we are taught, there was the ice of Niflheimr and the fire of Múspell, and in between the ice and the fire, lay the Yawning Void ginnungagap. Nothing inside of it, the space between fire and ice completely empty until a well in Niflheimr overflew and poured rivers down into the abyss; and in the abyss, the first primordial being was born. Ymir, from whose limbs the first Jötnar grew. He slept and sweated from the fires underneath, the story continues, and when he did not sleep, he drank from the milk of the primordial cow Auðumla. Auðumla ate the rime born from the very same river and while doing so, licked free the ancestor of all æsir, Búri. Búri fathered a son and the son fathered the three gods Óðinn, Vili and Vé. Óðinn, Vili and Vé killed Ymir for he was evil and so were all his descendants, and the blood that poured out of Ymir's body created a flood that killed off all Jötnar except two. Ymir's corpse, the three gods took to the centre of the ginnungagap. There, they turned his flesh into the earth, his bones into the mountains, and his blood into the sea. His skull, separated from his body and held up by the four dwarves Norðri, Suðri, Austri, and Vestri, they turned into the sky with sparks of Múspell's fire to form the stars and the moon.
From Ymir's eyelashes, the three æsir formed a prison to keep out the hostility of the surviving Jötnar and called the fortification Miðgarðr, the Middle Earth. As they found driftwood on the shore, they gave it spirit, sense, and blood, and so the first human man and the first human woman were born, their names Ask and Embla. But the rivers of Élivágar still poured and slithered and as they had born Auðumla and Ymir, they could bear life again when a new cycle began. As with all myths, humankind only knows what has been written by man, never by woman. Life begins not in a limb, but a womb. Búri was not at all that different from Ymir, but Ymir was a primordial woman. He despised her as man tends to do, envied her for the gift of life. His sons inherited his hatred and did what man's offspring has always done: they killed the woman and created a male god, the All-Father, the God-King, Óðinn.
The origin of Moa Zhao lies exactly there, in the last wails of a dying woman, a primordial woman, and the blood that birthed her the moment that Ymir died. She lives on forever, with the water of the Élivágar in her veins, never truly killed, always reborn for as long as life exists.

General. Moa Zhao's immortality is absolute. No sickness can take her, no weapon can injure her, and only time can imprison her. She is the observer, a shadow shackled to war: to summon her comes with consequences. Folklore emerges where she appears, from myths of undead mythical creatures like the strigoi, vrykolakas, or necks, to songs about lonely trolls attempting to lure poor, lost souls. In the absence of a verse specification, interactions are set within adaptations of various mythology with Moa as almost a manifestation of war. She is a tool, like sand and water and fire. She watches. She lives. She remembers.Dune. There was a place once, called Earth, long before the Butlerian Jihad. Mankind inherited this place and in its greed and disregard for any other live, destroyed it. Somewhere along the way, mankind created artificial intelligence ― because life had become unbearable and incomprehensible. Man had started with enslaving others and then had begun to enslave itself, and in hopes of finding freedom in a lack of thinking, had created machines to take on the role of man while man could be something else. The Butlerian Jihad forced man to think again, to return to its nature. But not everyone could; mankind divided itself into human and animal. Moa, mother, was the first to attempt saving what did not want to be saved ― and from that effort, the Bene Gesserit were born, an order of religious mysticism that begun the search for the Kwisatz Haderach. But the first Reverent Mother Superior left the order just when it started taking shape: because the fundamental nature of the observer is to watch. And she would, and she would wait, until the Shortening of the Way.WoT. Her existance is irrelevant to the weaves of the Wheel. She is a primordial force, older than the Forsaken, perhaps even comparable to the Dark One. She does not intervene unless the Pattern tells her to and until Rand al'Thor is born and with him the return of Lews Therin Telamon, she sits in the uninhabitable dunes of Termool where not even the Aiel dare to go. She cannot save lives the Wheel has not permitted to be saved and she watches, endlessly, as the ages come and go ― though occasionally, something or someone may persuade her to leave the dunes and enter the realm of civilisations. She's lonely after all.Arthurian. tbaASOIAF. tba
